SPEAKER_02:Um, I think recently, right now, they've been taking, well, they've been taking a whole bunch of a whole bunch of heat as of late, though. But this most recent one is not flying by with the people. And that's the whatcha call it? The game pass?
SPEAKER_05:Or the um the pricing for these new passes. Oh yeah. So they taxing Uncle Sam. You know what I'm saying? And and they the way they're trying to like break it down for the people to where it's like, um, we're doing more for you. Like, like, like, like, it's gonna be more in this. Like, yeah, right.
SPEAKER_02:I mean I will say though, Game Pass. I haven't I haven't re-uped the subscription in a minute. But when I did get it, when I did have it, that was fire, bro. It was like they was literally dropping games like the daily like day one release games. So technically, you didn't have to go ahead and buy that. You just rented that out right there. Yeah. Beat it and be like, all right, bet.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah. But like, realistically, who has time to like like these games these days be averaging like 30 hours, 20 hours type shit. You feel me? Like, plus. Like, like, like, like I'm saying, like, when I say 30, 20 hours, it's like basic games. I'm saying, like Spider-Man, for instance, like 24 hours, 22 hours, some shit like that. You feel me? Like, yeah, I think that wasn't nothing crazy. That was on a shorter side. Exactly. You know what I'm saying? Like, whereas you got games, I'm saying God of War or whatever, where it's 40 plus hours that you could put in on this fucking game. You know what I mean? Like Hogwarts Legacy is another example of that. You could put mad time on a game. So um you don't have time for that. Unless unless, unless like you just got an at-home job or you just bumming it, you a whole um I uh I like to call um homeless sexual, a homeless sexual is somebody who's just slinging dick, you know what I'm saying, for a place to stay. That's hobo. You know what I mean? No, no, no, no, no. Homeless sexual, you know what I'm saying? It's a whole different type of category. You know what I mean? Hobo is a different, you feel me? SPEAKER_02:Um, but nah, yeah. But nah, it was like it was it was good. It was it was a damn good thing. I think I wrote down the numbers, bro. I haven't um I haven't been on it as of late. But getting those getting getting just triple A and triple A games day one release without having to go ahead and spend this to 70 or whatever on it was solid.
SPEAKER_05:Okay. Yep, I did have the numbers. So we got we got the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It went from$29.99,$30. No, no, no. It went from$20 to$30. Um the um Game Pass premium went um Game Pass premium$15 a month, the same as the stage as the standard um subscription is$10. The Game Pass Essentials$10 a month, the same as the old core subscription. And the P PC Game Pass is$16 a month. It went up from$12 a month. You know what I'm saying? Like, we want I'm saying that do some mathematics on this, right? That's too many damn subscriptions, bro. That's too many, but but but I don't need no more. Check me though. Sony do the same thing.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, nah. Who said not who said Sony? Who said I even got the Sony subscription, bro? Fuck you thought the fuck you talking about?
SPEAKER_05:Sony does the exact same bullshit, and their catalog is dog shit, no funny shit. Like it's cool if you want to be like I guess cool for the nostalgia feeling of it. Like, because I'm saying, like, you know, we all for the most part, I don't know anybody who didn't really grow up on, you know what I'm saying, like um Sony or whatever, just having just a PlayStation in general. But they have like matter, um, you know, the classics a little bit old school collection. You know, like that's that's the only thing that's fire about that shit. That's the only thing.
SPEAKER_02:So, nah, I definitely I definitely felt like it's um Nah, Game Pass was definitely like the best thing that the best thing that Microsoft had ever did. But they fumbled at now.
SPEAKER_05:But if you don't like you don't have the time.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, you just don't have the time. I mean, well, to be fair, if you don't have the time, you shouldn't be getting this the subscription anyway. You shouldn't be getting any type of subscription if you don't got the time on that. Cause then that's just wasted.
SPEAKER_05:True. But like, how many hours um a week or a month do you put in with your Netflix subscription?
SPEAKER_02:I'm gonna be real. I haven't even been glocking all too much up in Netflix. I got I got shows and stuff to watch up on Netflix. I just haven't really been glocking up on Netflix. Niggas. Oh yeah. It's I mean, it's the whole thing. Everybody everybody has subscription fatigue, so raising a price up on this one, I mean it's not gonna make anybody happy.
SPEAKER_05:So nah, it's too much, it's too much, you know what I'm saying? My groceries, my groceries too damn hot, bro. I don't give a fuck about no goddamn game video games, you know what I'm saying? Like, fuck out here. I'm paying my fucking when eggs is like$13 for a cart or a dozen of fucking eggs, and them bitches wasn't even brown. Can I get some melanated eggs for a low price at least? Damn. Like when you think about a lot of these, um, a lot of these games when it comes to like the in-game purchasing and whatnot, and I mean like you know so yeah, nah.
SPEAKER_02:I mean some at least it's with an indie one, you you you're getting the whole game. You'll be lucky if they even decide to get like a DLC for that.

SPEAKER_02:Um something that's triple A, most definitely coming with some DLC. Whether it's like some skins or like whatever the heck that is that they selling for whatever than to match it. I mean like game games has just been it games have been an expensive hobby, but as of lately with everything else going into it, whether you're a console gamer or a PC gamer, it's just like you said, it's a luxury at this point. Oh yeah. This is why, like, at this point, I don't have I don't have to go ahead and buy like every game that's coming on out. No, I don't know I don't got the time for it. Uh uh. And I also don't got like the funds to just spread around and be throwing stuff like that. Uh-huh. Nah. I'm very selecting it. I'm selective with like my games and my time.
SPEAKER_05:Like I said, 40 hours, 20 hours. Yeah. How much time do you got to really sit down after hard, long days of work, even on your fucking off days, man? All right, so I gotta I got a question. Um from the lineup that we got so far, well, like uh we already know with um with like the X-Men, like like like base people like Nimtain.

SPEAKER_05:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um Beast Beast is supposed to be coming back. Um Professor X is supposed to be coming back.
SPEAKER_02:Okay, so they got like literally people from um from Funda Fox to come right back on.
SPEAKER_05:Um fucking uh I believe Mystique is supposed to be coming back. They talked about um I'm forgetting this dude's name, dude that'd be uh Nightcrawler. They talked about him coming back, but it's like one of those like what I'm saying, like a little wind in the air type thing.
SPEAKER_02:See, this is why this is why I just like just give me the trailer or whatever. Yeah, nah, nah, I felt that, but it's because it was because it's like I'm gonna be tight if they like they going on ahead and giving like this little, ooh, you know, like for example, not saying it, not saying that they are in it or not, or whatever the case, but like, ooh, you know, this little nightcrawler hint, he's like in the show or in the movie or whatever or or whatever, then come around, there's like a red herring. It was like somebody else who they was over here referencing or whatever that's gonna be up in there, like not like look, bro, I don't care about that right now anymore. At this point, just you know, at this point, just give it like like give me a trailer or or like little teaser or something.
SPEAKER_05:I wonder how it's gonna make sense. Like, are they gonna That's a lot of characters?
SPEAKER_02:I mean, Infinity Wars and Endgame was already kind of crazy with like the multiple different stories that you over here following, and that was just like technically split up into two Infinity Wars and Endgame.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:So something like this, which is gonna have even more people up on there, people from like the shows and whatnot coming up over here, and this. It's like at this point, it's like freaking beyond expansive.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:So as to how they're gonna fit all that up in there in that time, most likely, I wouldn't even be surprised if we get parts for this. I don't know if it was confirmed that it is getting parts or anything like that. But like like how Hollywood Hollywood has a trend with stuff like this. And something as big as this on a scale like this, I wouldn't be surprised if they had like freaking parts like already titled up for it. Because I can't see how they're gonna do that for like no freaking two and a half hours.
SPEAKER_05:You know, they already be taking like four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven four years to go make a movie and shit.
SPEAKER_02:They won't give you all the other ones to hold you down. You feel me?

Oh, so um when they would talk about that.
SPEAKER_05:So Colin Farrell, um, recently, you know, Penguin or whatever, he just recently did like an interview and he was talking about um he was talking about um like the tone. Of course, so we all know that, or I don't know if people don't know that um he's not gonna be the main villain in the Batman 2. I'm saying, like he's gonna be part of one of those, like I'm saying, like if you kind of really know the penguin story, he never like really was like, I mean, you know, Batman's on the top of Batman's list, you know what I mean? Like he was just, you know. So, and especially with the history of um of of the cobble pots or whatever, I think that that might be explored more.
SPEAKER_02:Probably might just be saving a whole lot of that for um what you call it, season two of the penguin.

But um, but he said that um pretty much the director had like got back and took a step back and went back to all the way before I'm saying early comics type shit and picked apart and found out which one to him, which was the darkest one, which was the most most like uh down-to-earth, you know what I'm saying. One we got the setup. He was talking about how we got the setup, which is of course we've seen for like um the tone of what he can do, or whatever, who he is now, because they they automatically skipped over like the origin story, which is I appreciate it. We all know Batman's origin story.
SPEAKER_02:We took like a year one with it. So it was like we skipped the origin bit about him, though, but we're also like when he's first kind of starting on out, or he's fairly new into the game.

SPEAKER_02:Because there was like little things he's like, oh shit, you know, like, oh, little things he was getting tripped up on, you know, tripped up on. But like a veteran Batman wouldn't have gotten tripped upon. Yeah, yeah. Nah, Dark Knight was um, I said not the not the Dark Knight, the Batman was was damn good. And it was also like a detective one, too. Because so they ended up showing off more of his like detective chops. No, yeah, which was also real good.
SPEAKER_05:Which is definitely, you know what I'm saying? Because at the end of the day, like like yeah, Batman be fighting all kinds of like planetary as people with the Justice League and all of that, but like the root base core Batman, I'm saying the nigga's a detective, bro. You know what I'm saying? Like he really be trying to figure shit out and fucking bust up fucking gangs and shit like that. You know what I'm saying? Like, like it's it's deeper than a lot of shit that that that you see on the outside of it. And I appreciate um the take that's been that's been done with that, you know what I'm saying? SPEAKER_02:Like you could really you could have it continue on without it having being like introduced or like better without it hurting whatever it established or what it's going with, which is pretty nice.

SPEAKER_01:This is a little bit for me, but the absolute universe.
SPEAKER_02:I know I have spoke of it I know I spoke of it like you know a little bit before earlier and whatnot. You gotta check out the absolute universe, man. It's the comics. So to briefly, you know, to get you put on it. Um it was like a big event that happened on um with the mainstay comics and whatnot. The dark side was um all powerful and was fueled by um damn the Spectre. Pretty much like DC's um god or whatever. It was fueled by him. Anyway, long story short, scrapped up with the Justice League. Had they f ended up taking him out, finished his life, but in doing so, he was able to make a new a new universe that was fueled by him and his power. Hence the absolute universe. Now what's going on up over there, all the stuff like that was going on in the main DC universe, like hope and stuff like that, no longer a concept that's so much up over here in this um absolute universe that's fueled by dark side. It's like the heroes are at their lowest of the low. And this is them just starting out like Bruce Wayne, he ain't rich. He ain't rich. He's he's literally like just a slim kid. He's literally just right up over there. His mom's still around, but his pops died. You know, gotta have like little Batman origin. A parent gotta die, apparently. Yeah, Batman. Tight shit, tight shit. So Pops is gone and whatnot. He is poor, so he don't have like all the money and whatnot to do it. So he works as like um, I think it's like engineer. Like pretty much he's working, he's like a city worker, and he's like filling up all like all the constructions and whatnot that's going on in Gotham. He's like putting in his own stuff like Batman stuff. So he's already has like a whole baseline of like the whole city and whatnot, starting from the bottom, literally. He's also like seven feet tall. He's a brick house, bro. He's he's built like a freaking brick house. It's crazy. He also got a battle axe as his baseline. And you know, like it's it's it's insane. Wonder Woman, she up over here, like born, well not necessarily born, but raised up in hell. She comes out, she got a bust of sword, she's spelled like she's a spellcast. Like she, bro, it's insane.
SPEAKER_03:Okay.
SPEAKER_02:Superman, you know, I'm just run, I'm I'm just running him down over there to you, though. But like, it's it's insane. Everybody, everybody got like some type of trauma or whatnot going on. It's insane. Superman, he's, you know, the hope Superman origins and whatnot, though. But now he's like going up against Rajah Glue, like Raz.

SPEAKER_02:It's it's insane. He also got like his own suit. His suit looks hard, but it's also like an AI that also kind of like is like his cape. It's like dust that could be his cape and shit. It can also do like all this other stuff, like, bro, it's insane.

SPEAKER_02:They all are like working out of some type of gutter or some type of like un ungood like circumstances where like they can't gauge. Like, they got a whole bunch of stuff going on. Batman, just to go right back to Batman, he's his whole rogue is different. Like, the Joker is rich. It did like a whole flip. Like, Joker up over here is rich and up over here doing the Lazarus and all this other stuff. We still haven't, like, we seen him in, like, we seen him seen him come up in there though, but it's insane. You got Bane up over here, who's even even bigger than Batman, who's seven feet tall. Bane's like about eight, and that's without the venom.

SPEAKER_02:Yeah. He could like the venom comes on, he's like freaking um he's bigger than like the Hulk type of shit.

SPEAKER_02:It's insane. And it's just a lot of shit going on, bro. It's just a lot of shit. Just know. Even I think they got like, they got the Green Lantern, that's also pretty good, too, when like a whole bunch of stuff, concepts and whatnot is being like switched on his dime, like switch on his head right up over there. So that's also pretty good. They also got like the Flash, Flash following like uh Wally. Wally's a kid up over here, though, but there's no such thing as the speed force. His speed force is different up over here and type shit. Whole bunch of stuff going on, but he's on the run, and then like they got Martian Manhunter, which I think is pretty is drawn out nicely. Like the whole thing is drawn out like with um with colors. Okay. And the Martian, he's um, he's interacting with like through colors. So like all this stuff, like how the art is drawn and whatnot, sometimes it could just be like with it's like conveying the different emotions and whatnot, but they doing it in like a colorful way. And then like they're having the Martian inter interact with like those thoughts and whatnot, so you're seeing it. It's like it's it's pretty, it's trippy. It's tripped out, but it's good as fuck. Point is, if you're not on the absolute universe whole thing going on, get up on that because it's crazy. I got too much. They got like um, they preparing to do like a crossover with the absolute universe and like the main DC universe.

SPEAKER_02:That's what's like they're going on right now where they're kind of setting that up. But it's been kind of insane. Reason why I'm talking about the absolute universe is because a couple of weeks back they showed Absolute Joker. And I gotta say, I'm gonna put up a picture for y'all when y'all um so y'all can see that way if y'all haven't seen it, y'all can see it. But for you, bro, you have to see how insane this man looks. Like, I feel sorry. I like I don't I don't know why why um Darkseid has it out for Batman, but I don't know. He has it out for him because all his villains thus far in his runs have been kind of demons. Look at this.

Because they did the same thing with Ghost too. It was like you had ghosts out for probably about like a month or whatever, month or two, and then like the um multiplayer came out like a couple of months after.
SPEAKER_05:But how would please don't do it like they did it before? It needs to be fun.
SPEAKER_02:I'm pretty sure they're gonna expand on it because it needs to be fun.

SPEAKER_02:Like, I don't have everything yet in Ghost. Um, I mean Yote. So I can see them if they're gonna do that like how they did with the previous one where they had like um different like the different weapons and they kind of broke it into like classes per se, or like just the stances or whatever for it. I could see them doing something like this with like um the different you know that there's weapons, right? Okay, yeah. Um I can see them probably doing something with that, making it like more specialized, like more specialized sets or something like that. Um it's in it it'll be interesting, I say that much. Um I can see the combat for it m changing up a lot because they did introduce like some new stuff on it. So I can definitely see like whenever the multiplayer for this comes on out, it'll probably be dude. I mean like it it it'll be good, like be a another time sink, if anything. Because the first one when it came out like out, it was it wasn't bad. It was pretty good. Obviously, then when they then had to like throw up all the harder content and whatnot and and the freaking raid and stuff like that, just made it a little bit difficult. But or I guess a little bit boring because again, at the end of the day's waves. But I could see them doing something interesting with it where it could look, they could chef it up. I'm pretty sure they got it.
SPEAKER_04:So would it be too much to ask for a co-op game like Yote?
SPEAKER_02:I think it's just gonna have to be something that they do from the ground up, like with that in mind. I don't think it would be I don't know actually.

It was just like I think they just trivialized it to like just another Spartans that just happened to get like a hold of this power and and whatnot. So he was going with that. No, multiplayers most definitely I take that back. Multiplayers and games most definitely be existing because just the Twitch friend slop games that come out now, mm-hmm, obviously for co-op. Granted, those are a different kind of co-op.

Point is, I know that we we still be waiting. You still gonna be waiting for like the rest of this story to finish on up. Is it milking? But as someone who has read it and know what to expect, that's kind of like how the arcs that's like that's kind of how it was with just reading it, where it's just like, alright, you get like a whole lot of action scenes, a whole lot of talking and whatnot, a whole lot of memories. Because again, you saw like you saw it, everybody's up in there, everybody got like a pass, or everybody got some story going on. So you're gonna see a whole bunch of stories that were getting to regardless. But I know that's was uh like a main point that a lot of people had about the movie.
SPEAKER_05:I mean they do that in episode, so what the fuck is the part? Exactly. That's what I'm saying, is like it ain't nothing new. You just you just it's just it's just it's just all compiled together, but if you really think about it, they do that in episode, so it makes no it makes no difference. Like if this was broken up into like instead of like just watching it like how you said it was, like as as a movie format, and we just watch it in like um episodic episode type thing, it most definitely would have they most definitely would have drawn it on out with uh it would have been one padding of them fighting one and a half one and a half episodes of them fighting, and then two and a half episodes of some fillers, you know what I'm saying? Cause it's just been like, there's no like it's a weekly thing, it's a bi-weekly, it's not it's like nothing like that. You could be good, he could probably give you like four chapters within a month, or like maybe two chapters within a month, however he's feeling on it. But point is he he delivering fire. Like the art's insane. If you know me and you like follow me on socials or whatever, you know that I'll just be like posting mad, mad art or whatever, like mad anime shit with some music. I love the artwork that he um that he does up on that. And like the way that he have the craft the characters crafted and whatnot, Chef's Kiss. So get up on that. Um, I don't know when they will make the anime for that, though, but I know that whenever they make the anime for that, depending on whatever studio picks it up, it's gonna be fire. Damn good. Um and the other one, this is a weekly um read. No anime for this one yet either, but it is doing well in Japan. So it's doing it's technically doing well regard um in general. So obviously, this is gonna be like the next one Shona Jump puts their money in. But it's called Ichi the Witch. Long story short, this boy who lives out in the wild, um in this world, women are witches. They have access to magic. Men, men can't um get like powers of magic. So it's funk. Ichi, however, is in a situation with one of the witch who's trying to acquire this strong um magic being. He can't acquire it because of like the loophole that this magic being has for his trial. Anyway, Ichi beats him, he acquires him, becomes the first um, the first male to uh use magic or whatever. And he's very feral because again, he's just been he's he's just been living in the wild hunting. That's how he made his ways. So he kind of brings a little something interesting for them, but being um a hunter and all, his whole thing about like um showing respect to whatever it is that he's hunting. Cause again, he obeys like the the rules of like the wild, so to speak. So you show him you show him like that um whatcha call it? That killing instinct, he gonna show it right back to you tenfold or whatever. Of course. Type shit.

SPEAKER_02:Um, but all in all, doing pretty good. Um, I think they got like 30 something or whatever chapters on going out the way. But they move in grooving and they doing good. Uh they just finished up a arc and went just right into this new one. So kind of like the witch. Yeah. Be on the lookout for when that one eventually gets animated. Yeah. It's gonna be good. Like the first bit of it was kind of like a little bit slow, but even then, still was pretty good. Artwork pretty good. Action, solid, and just the use of like the magic and the powers and all that other stuff when we was there is pretty interesting. Fire, fire. Got some closing some closing arguments?
